Lakeshore needs your help! Following feedback from our membership, the LSPA Board of Directors made the very difficult decision to not open this summer due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This was necessary to protect the health and safety of our members; however, it also means that Lakeshore does not have any income for this year even though expenses are ongoing.
LSPA assumed a mortgage 5 years ago in order to complete much-needed renovations to the pool. In addition to monthly mortgage payments, the Association must still pay insurance, property taxes, ongoing maintenance, and upkeep. The LSPA Board of Directors have applied for, and received, a business loan offered by the government but there are no other sources of financial aid. As you know, Lakeshore is a not-for-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. Our only income is the fees paid by pool members.
In order to ensure that Lakeshore has a sustainable future, we need to turn to you, our members and friends, for help. We ask that anyone who feels able to do so, to please make a financial donation to LSPA. Please visit the LSPA Website to see where past or present pool members and community friends can make a financial donation. All donations go directly to supporting the pool.
To raise money, the Board of Directors currently have 2 fun and exciting fundraisers taking place - Lakeshore Survivor and Lakeshore T-Shirt sales. Please visit the Lakeshore website at https://lakeshorepoolkingston.net We hope that you and your friends will participate in them! Additionally, if you have any fundraising ideas or suggestions, or are willing to participate in fundraising efforts, we would really love to hear from you. You can contact any the LSPA Board of Directors at email@example.com
We hope we can count on your support during this unprecedented time. Donate to Lakeshore Pool
